Knovelyra Business Terms
These terms apply to business customers using Knovelyra. The contracting provider is Mastermind Security Solutions Limited, trading as Knovelyra.
1. The service
Knovelyra lets a business configure AI guides, provide approved knowledge and offer spoken or on-screen guidance. Features and limits depend on the selected plan. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and must not replace professional, legal, medical, financial, safety-critical or emergency advice.
2. Accounts and authorised users
You must provide accurate business information, protect login credentials and control access to your workspace. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and must notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
3. Subscriptions and payment
Prices are shown in GBP and subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. The checkout page shows the amount due before payment. VAT is not currently charged. Stripe processes payments. Plan changes, failed payments, cancellation and renewal are managed through the secure billing portal. Service access may be suspended after a failed payment or when a plan limit is reached.
4. Usage limits
Each plan includes stated active conversation minutes, hosts, sites, approved knowledge capacity and actions. Knowledge capacity is measured from the UTF-8 size of uploaded or pasted text. Hard limits are used to prevent surprise usage charges. Unused monthly capacity does not roll over unless we agree otherwise in writing.
5. Customer responsibilities
You must have authority to upload content and process personal information. You must give end users appropriate privacy information and obtain microphone, voice, image or other consent where required. You must review guide instructions, permitted website actions and business knowledge before publishing them.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Knovelyra to break the law, deceive people, impersonate someone without permission, make unlawful automated decisions, bypass security, collect secrets, distribute malware, harass people or submit purchases, legal agreements or sensitive account changes without the person’s clear confirmation.
7. Content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of content you provide and grant us the limited rights needed to host, process and display it for the service. Knovelyra and its software, design and branding remain our property or that of our licensors. Feedback may be used to improve the service without identifying confidential customer information.
8. Confidentiality and data protection
Each party must protect the other party’s confidential information and use it only for the service. Where Knovelyra processes personal data for a business customer, the parties will comply with applicable data-protection law and any agreed data-processing terms.
9. Availability and third-party services
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. The service depends on providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Runway and Stripe. We may change features to improve security, comply with law or maintain the service, while avoiding material reduction of a paid plan without reasonable notice where practicable.
10. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees paid by the customer to Knovelyra in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Ending the agreement
You may cancel renewal through the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk or non-payment. On termination, service access ends and customer data is deleted or returned in line with the privacy notice, legal retention duties and any written data-processing terms.
12. General
These terms and any order form are the entire agreement for the service. English law governs the agreement and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Contact support@knovelyra.com with questions or formal notices.
